「渋谷区のカラオケボックスで“大野が大麻を吸引した”と同席した女性の証言をもとに記事を構成。しかも、大野が明らかにイってる写真も掲載されてますからね。ジャニーズとしては、無視はできません。今、大野は売れに売れてますからね。大変なことになりますよ」（夕刊紙記者）
大野は7月からスタートしたTBSのドラマ『魔王』に主演。8月には日本テレビの恒例になった『24時間テレビ』のメインパーソナリティを務めることになっている。
「大野がリーダーを務める嵐は、日本テレビの北京五輪のテーマソングを歌ってますからね。これが本当だとすると番組を降りるだけでは済まないですよ」(テレビ関係者)
ジャニーズ側は、いつものようにこの報道を黙殺するのもしれないが、記事の掲載を知った警察関係者は「これだけハッキリ書かれているんですから、警察としても、黙っているわけにはいかないでしょ。捜査次第では逮捕の可能性もあります」と言う。
今回の記事、警察が動くことになれば、“アイドル王国”ジャニーズ事務所を屋台骨から揺るがすスキャンダルに発展するかもしれない。
